AGUAPLANO (PRANOS)

Locality: CALA GONONE

Access: Drive up from Cala Gonone towards Dorgali; immediately after the first bend turn into the gravel road which leads to Nuraghe Mannu; at the second bend park your car at the car park; follow the path which leads to the valley (it takes about 20  minutes); finally, the amphitheatre appears in front of you.

Description: Hidden amphitheatre ; steep face climbing with holes, overhangs and ledges or bars.

Recommended season: Throughout the year.

Position / orientation: East side.

Height: From 20 to 70 metres.

Execution:

Ropes: Rope of 60 metres recommended or two ropes of 50 metres on certain routes.

Nailing / pegging: The face is equipped with resin-anchored bolts and bolts at the belay stations.

Number of routes: At the moment only 12 routes with many possibilities.
