S’atta Ruia
Locality:
Dorgali.
Access:
Starting from the entrance of Dorgali,
take the ring road along the mountain; after about one
kilometre you arrive at a pinewood. Climb up among the
trees and you’ll arrive at the foot of the face after
about 3 minutes.
Description:
Very long limestone cliff (it reaches a
length of 300 metres). It offers grey, vertical faces
with yellow overhangs.
Exposure:
West side; there is shadow in the
morning until 2 p.m.; you can go climbing throughout
the whole year.
Style:
Face climbing on eroded cliffs and
overhangs with sinters.
Height:
10 – 40 metres.
Execution:
The routes
have been bolted by Piero Fancello.
Ropes:
60 or 70 metres; 15 quickdraws.
Nailing /pegging:
The routes are equipped with bolts,
resin-anchored bolts and chains at the belay stations.

About 65, in phase of extension.
